An Open Convo on Depression & A Free Printable

Lately I've been noticing more and more discussion about depression. What once was the ominous elephant in the room is no longer a taboo topic to discuss. Depression affects so many more people than you might realize. I'm not going to bombard you with stats and charts and shit, I just want to have an honest conversation about how depression affects me, and hopefully help open the conversation up for you if you're struggling. If you had to label it, you could classify me as having high functioning depression. I don't even know if that's actually a thing, but it[...]

About a Boy

Last week we celebrated this kid. He turned 11 and I truly can't believe that 11 years have gone by since he made his way into this world. He's gone from a tiny baby with chubby little legs to a pre-teen, who's growing taller by the minute. What’s Up at our House – Early Summer Recap

Wow. Does anyone else feel like the past couple of months have completely flown by? Here we are in July already and I hardly remember what went on in May and June! So, what have we been up to lately? A whole lotta everything. We ended May with track and field meets for both boys, and Carter was able to advance to city track where he competed against athletes from other schools in the district. He brought home some 3rd place finishes and the coveted 1st place ribbon for team relay's, it was pretty exciting to watch! Flag football ended mid June for Carte[...]
