Our Life

About a Boy

Last week we celebrated this kid. He turned 11 and I truly can't believe that 11 years have gone by since he made his way into this world. He's gone from a tiny baby with chubby little legs to a pre-teen, who's growing taller by the minute. His shoulders are getting broader, his face more mature & each day he amazes me with the knowledge he holds. He has a response for everything which is mostly good, but sometimes not. He thinks logically & you can no longer bs him with your answers. "Because I said so" & "That's just the way it is" are no lon[...]

A whole lotta everything. We ended May with track and field meets for both boys, and Carter was able to advance to city track where he competed against athletes from other schools in the district. He brought home some 3rd place finishes and the coveted 1st place ribbon for team relay's, it was pretty exciting to watch! Flag football ended mid June for Carte[...]

What’s up at our House – April Recap

I can't believe it's May already. I'm sitting here on the deck, the sun is shining, my shoulders are burning and the grass is getting greener by the day. This year is flying by and as Carter so excitedly reminded me, there is less than two months of school left.
